Irresolute October

En: In this post you'll see how I reacted to an unexpected change of weather. Normally in North  Texas we get 45 F by the end of November, but this time October seems to be in a hurry. The leaves didn't get to start falling yet, we keep going with dark green trees and grass.  I woke up Saturday morning with the nice feeling it was raining outside, just perfect for a lazy day in bed with jasmine tea and raspberry jam.

Later on when I got tired of my quiz book I decided to go to the mall to spend all the gift cards I got last week for my birthday. I put some jeans on me, a sweater and a pair of loafers, I knew it was raining but I did not expect the temperatures to drop so low. Therefore the next day I woke up with an inflamed throat and a nose who did not want to react to my tasteful crepes with raspberry jam. So Sunday night I figured that if I want to go out I need a faux-fur vest and a beanie. I guess there is more than one reason they say don't mess with Texas, you can't even mess with texan weather.

Anyway this week promises to bring back the sun and end up with a happy 90 F Saturday. I am looking forward to enjoying it. Hope you do the same.

Ro: In acest post vedeti cum am reactionat eu la o schimbare brusca de timp in Texas. Normalmente 7 grade Celsius e o temperatura de sfarsit de noiembrie aici, dar se pare ca acest octombrie se grabeste tare cu toate ca nici frunzele nu au inceput a cadea normal, mergem inainte cu un verde inchis pina cind. M-am trezit simbata dimineata placut surprinsa ca ploua afara, perfect pentru a lenevi mai indelung in pat cu un ceai de iasomie indulcit cu magiun din zmeura. Intr-un tirziu a trebuit sa ma scol din pat, am lasat cartea de quiz-uri deoparte ca ma plictisise rau si riscam sa iau o durere de cap de la ea, asa ca am zis sa merg la mall sa golesc toate gift cardurile  pe care le-am primit duminica trecuta de ziua mea. Mi-am pus o pereche de blugi pe mine, un pulover si niste loafers ca mi s-a parut ca afara doar ploua nu e neaparat si frig, ca sa ma trezesc duminica de dimineata cu un gat umflat si un nas ursuz care nu vroia sa reactioneze la mirosul clatitelor pe care ma apucam sa le fac. Si doar asa am hotarat seara ca daca vreau sa ies din casa imi pun vesta si caciulita; incepeam postul cu '...vedeti cum am reactionat' de fapt trebuia '...vedeti cum am reactionat cu intirziere'. 

In fine saptamana asta promite sa aduca soarele inapoi si chiar sa incheie cu o simbata fericita de 29 de grade C. Total nehotarata vremea asta, ca si mine.
